The Peruvian watercress grows in the foothills of the Peruvian Andes at altitudes of up to 4000 m above sea level. It was used by the ancient Incas for its beneficial effects on physical and mental health.

The red maca differs from the others in colour, taste, smell and some properties. It has a very pleasant sweet taste and is suitable for both women and men. The red maca is the rarest of all Peruvian cress varieties.

Use
