Freeze-dried apricots are made using freeze-drying, the gentlest method of fruit preservation, which allows them to retain their natural appearance, full flavor, aroma and color. They are light, pleasantly crunchy, and delicately sweet. When in contact with water, they soften and almost return to their original state.

To produce 1 kg of freeze-dried fruit, approximately 6–7 kg of fresh apricots is used, ensuring an intense flavor and premium quality. Apricots originally come from Armenia (Latin name Prunus armeniaca) and today are one of the most widely cultivated fruit trees in Central Europe.
