Camu camu is the berry of a tree that grows in the rainforest of the Amazon. They are not consumed on their own because of their characteristic sour taste. They are used directly to produce a food supplement in powder form or to make beverages. Like the acerola, they contain one of the highest levels of the world's most famous antioxidant, vitamin C.
