Açai is one of the treasures of the Amazon jungle. This palm grows up to 25 metres high. Its tiny blueberry-like fruits are dark purple in colour. The flesh of this exotic fruit is used to make a deep purple powder that can be added to drinks or meals.
Thanks to freeze-drying immediately after harvesting, our açai powder retains up to 95% of its active ingredients and is RAW quality.
Açai is rich in vitamin C content, which supports immunity, collagen formation, mental well-being and absorption of other vitamins and minerals.
It also contains high levels of phosphorus, iron and calcium. Phosphorus supports normal tooth and bone function and contributes to energy metabolism. Iron in turn supports normal cognitive function, reduces fatigue and exhaustion and contributes to normal blood cell and haemoglobin production.
