Goji berry is native to Asia where it grows as a shrubby perennial up to three metres tall. The fruit is similar to a rosehip, lighter red in colour and like the rosehip it is also dried. In traditional Chinese medicine, the goji is considered an indispensable part of the diet. Goji is not very rich in carbohydrates compared to other dried fruits.

Use

Goji can be added to cereal porridges, fruit salads or baking dough. You can use them to make your own fruit and nut mixes.
