Cashew tree grows up to 12 metres high and was first discovered in Brazil. In the 16th century, thanks to Portuguese sailors, it spread to Europe and Asia, and today it can be found all over the world in dry tropical areas.

WW, or Whole White, denotes the quality of the nut, which is processed carefully to preserve the whole fruit.

We use our cashews to make the high quality cashew cream we offer.

TIPS

The use of cashew nuts is really wide:

  • in breakfast porridges
  • in smoothies
  • to decorate and nutritionally enrich desserts
  • to enrich any savoury dish, especially in Asian-style RAW cuisine
  • lightly roasted
  • in combination with other nuts and dried fruits as a nutritious snack
  • vegetable cashew milk
  • homemade cashew nut cream

Did you know?

Cashews are actually not nuts at all, but an accessory fruit. In fact, they grow like the stone of its real fruit - the so-called "cashew apples". Like our Czech apple tree, the kidney apple tree bears fruit once a year, with one apple yielding one cashew nut. This leaves only 60-80 kg of shelled cashews after the harvest. This is the reason for their relatively high price compared to other nuts.
