Organic Maqui Powder 80g

The origin of the maqui berry is in the tropical forests of South America. The tiny dark purple berries, similar to our blueberries, have been used by Andean Indians for thousands of years as an elixir of youth and longevity. Maqui fruit powder is extracted from the ripe berries, which are freeze-dried or freeze-dried immediately after harvesting. As a result, up to 95% of the original properties such as colour, aroma, taste and health benefits are preserved. 

The dark purple colour of the maqui indicates that it contains anthocyanins and that it will be an antioxidant. Blueberries or acai berries, for example, contain the same dye. Maqui, however, far exceeds them in antioxidant content. According to the ORAC scale, a value of 27600 was measured in 100 g of maqui. In comparison, blueberries were measured at 6520. Maqui is thus the food supplement with the highest measured antioxidant value ever. 

Use

Maqui berry powder has a pleasantly sweet blueberry taste and aroma. Thanks to its beautiful purple colour, you can work magic with maqui in the kitchen. In addition to the violet hint, it adds an irresistible aroma and lots of nutrients to your dishes. You can add the powder to breakfast cereals, yoghurt, fruit smoothies or vegetable juices.

Recommended daily dosage:

1 teaspoon (3 g) per day. Stir in 150 ml of water, beverage or add to food.
