Organic Coconut Sugar 130g

Organic coconut sugar is an unrefined natural sweetener that is traditionally obtained by hand-picking the nectar from the flowers of coconut palms. Coconut sugar has a slightly caramel taste, aroma and colour.

It has been used in Asia for many years as a sweetener. It helps to maintain a stable internal environment and has a beneficial effect on the whole organism.

Coconut sugar, like other brown sugars, tends to harden. This is due to the higher molasses content and to the variations in the humidity of the climate at the time of harvest and during transport. 

Use

Coconut sugar has a similar sweetness to conventional white sugar, so it can be substituted in recipes at a 1:1 ratio. You can add it to porridge, smoothies or to dough in baking.
